Geometry of Fiction
Geometry of Fiction is a silver jewelry collection of three rings. The forms were inspired by the architecture of the historic Golshan Bathhouse in Yazd, Iran. An experimental method was used: primary shapes such as cubes and cylinders were combined in three-dimensional software with the reversed geometry of the bathhouse, producing more than 250 new forms. A few forms were then selected for the rings. The pieces were modeled digitally, printed in resin and cast in silver. The three rings can be worn as a set, in pairs or alone.
Geometry of Fiction Jewelry Collection by Nazanin Saranjampour was identified as an innovative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award. Geometry of Fiction Jewelry Collection received the Iron A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2022. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes superior design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
