Love Door
The Door of One's Heart is a necklace made of 18K gold, diamonds and enamel. The pendant is formed of two layers shaped like doors. When the back piece is moved to the right, the two doors rotate and together form a heart. A new bearing structure inside the pendant allows the movement, and a fine buckle fixes the doors at an angle of 90 degrees. The necklace can be worn in two forms, each with its own appearance and meaning. The design uses simplified lines to express the idea of opening the door of the heart.
Love Door Necklace by Siting Ye has been selected as a creative example of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Love Door Necklace was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2021. The A' Jewelry Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that recognizes superior design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
